May 24, 2009 Memorial Day Weekend

Hi again all,

On this Memorial Day weekend, I want to honor the memory of all the veterans who have died in the service of our country. And to give a hearty THANK YOU to all those who have served in previous years and to those who are serving today!

Please know that you are in our HEARTS and in our PRAYERS. As much as the government is trying to KEEP us from praying to the God Who made us, we will continue to praise and THANK Him as long as we have breath!

I hope each person reading this will take some time to visit--a grave, a retirement home, nursing home, your neighbor, whoever you know that has served or is serving this wonderful country. Write a letter to a serviceman or woman, volunteer at the nearest soup kitchen. Find a way to actively honor some of these brave people who serve in our stead.

That's my soapbox for today! Now, let's get out and get busy!
